House AR Coatings

Three in-house anti-reflective coatings, applied right here in our Utah lab. Built for independent practices that want reliable optics, predictable turnaround, and a real warranty — without paying national-lab pricing for it.
  • Applied in-house — no send-out delays
  • Available on every progressive and SV lens we make
  • Premium tier carries a 2-year warranty
  • Comparable performance to the big-name coatings

The three house coatings

Pick the right tier for the patient. We'll never upsell a coating they don't need.

Blue Light

House Blue Defense AR

Why our AR holds up

Coated in-house

We run our own coating equipment in West Valley City. No send-out, no third-party variability.

Under 4-day turnaround

Most AR jobs leave the lab in under 4 business days — sometimes the same week you order.

Real warranties

1 year on Core. 2 years on Crystal and Blue Defense. If it fails, we redo it — under our standard redo policy.

Premium cosmetics

Crystal residual reflection is engineered to be virtually invisible to the patient.

Blue light, done right

Blue Defense is the right call when a patient asks about screens — but for most patients, Crystal is the better default.

Optician training included

We'll come to your office (or you to ours) and train your team on selling AR upgrades the right way.

A note on blue AR.

The blue residual reflection on blue-filter coatings is visible — patients notice it. Most ECPs default to clear AR unless the patient brings up screens or blue light first. If they don't ask, go Crystal or one of the VSP Techshield options.
