Our History
Premier Vision Group started in 2007 when a Utah group of eye care practitioners were presented with the opportunity to purchase a nearly new optical surfacing laboratory. At a time when groups such as Vision Source were thriving by bringing together providers and combining efforts in management, purchasing and marketing, Premier Vision Group (PVG) was conceptualized to fulfill that role with the additional advantages and benefits of equity ownership in an optical surfacing laboratory. Since 2007 PVG has continued to experience steady growth simply by word of mouth discussions. Our most primary tenets are to produce and provide the highest quality optical products and workmanship, while identifying key performance products to allow for streamlined inventory, cost savings, and processing speed. The pricing structure at PVG allows our members to save an average of 20% to 35% on their wholesale laboratory costs.
